THE ROLE
A focus of this role will be to develop trusted relationships with our management team to influence, coach and upskill leaders to add to a bigger picture of employee engagement in a positive values-based workplace culture, that recognises the commitment given to our success by everyone of our employees.
- Provide guidance on workplace issues, performance improvement, management or discipline.
- Deliver advice to contribute to a constructive culture of consistency and fairness to add to positive employee experience and engagement.
- Support managers through any investigation or grievance activity.
- Support the interpretation of Enterprise Agreements and Award entitlements terms and conditions in a changing workplace relation environment.
- Foster employee relations with a broad range of generalist responsibilities.
- Provide senior technical support on employment matters related to remuneration, redundancy, terminations, benefits, right of entry and in the resolution of emerging issues.
- Offer an escalation point for HR advisors or recruiters for internal development.
- Assist in the provision of HR related information and documentation for tendering and bidding.
- Contribute to projects, procedures and policies to support new HR initiatives that build our employee value proposition and culture.
ABOUT YOU
- An enthusiastic promoter of our values, passionate about driving exceptional employee experience throughout employment lifecycle.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to earn trust and credibility, to influence great outcomes.
- Hold a HR qualification with proven experience as a HR Advisor in an ER and IR role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Well-developed analytical, problem solving and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritise tasks to meet timeframes.
- Ability to work under independently and take initiative.
- Demonstrate high degree of confidentiality.
