We are seeking an additional experienced Human Resources administration Officer, Recruitment Assistant or Resourcer - interested in joining us to support our growing business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic person who genuinely loves talking with people, a self starter with drive and initiative to begin with the "data entry and recruitment administration" and as you learn the business, ultimately take ownership of the whole recruitment process.
There is NO direct SALES element to the role as this role will support the Sales & Marketing team.
This role also has the option to work from home after an initial period.
Mandatory Experience - (please address this criteria in a cover letter)
As a guide, you would need at least 12 months experience in a similar role, supporting a Human Resources Advisor/Manager &/or a Recruitment Consultant (or a team of HR/Recruitment professionals), preferably for the Civil Construction/Engineering, EPCM or Mining Industries.
• There is a lot of phone and email communications in this role, so high levels of verbal and written English comprehension and expression are critical.
• "Thinking on your feet", using your initiative and providing genuine considered responses are a regular requirement of the role.
• Due to the Data Entry requirement, demonstrable skills in Intermediate to Advanced touch typing are required.
• Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills with Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, Windows & Cloud file management systems and Outlook email.
• Experience with the Jobadder or any other Recruitment Database & Tracking Software will be an advantage. (Please state what database/tracking software you've been using).
• Due to the high likelihood that you will be working from your own home;
* It would be advantageous if you already have your own reliable computer hardware & fast internet access.
* It would be a distinct advantage if you have worked in an "unsupervised or remote type role" previously.
* At this stage, the role is being offered for a minimum of 15 hours per week with a degree of flexibility to increase the hours up to 30 or more with peak demand. (If demand continues to grow it could expand into a full time role or we could consider splitting the role depending on your preferences).
While regular travel is not normally anticipated, you must have a valid driver's licence and own personal transport to attend site or one of our offices if necessary. Due to our office locations between the Ormeau to Gympie regions, preference will be given to someone already living between those areas to ensure safe driving travel times between locations.
