Job description

Freo Group, Australia's premier provider of crane hire services and project material logistics management, is seeking a dynamic HR Aministrator to join our team in Brisbane or Perth. Freo Group delivers unparalleled crane hire, heavy lift, project logistics management, oversized transport, materials handling, warehousing, and storage solutions.

About the Role: Maintaining employee and HR organisational information through the management of the Company's HRIS system and data. Champion the employee experience and provide assistance to support the HR administrative and transactional processes within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the mobilisation team to ensure timely handover to ensure employee's preparedness for site readiness, compliance and mobilisation to site.
  • Monitor and management medicals in-box, ensure medicals are compliant and filed appropriately including notification to applicable compliance personnel for system updates.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks, documentation and system requirements are met in off-boarding (Terminating) employees.
  • Assisting with updating/reviews of company policies, HR documentation/templates and ensuring legal compliance, ensuring timely updates and validity of the data and records within HRIS systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and projects as needed, including assistance with Reports/presentations and data analysis on HR metrics as required.
  • Manage the service awards program, including eligibility determination, award selection, and coordination of recognition events.
  • Oversee the uplift points program, including tracking employee participation, calculating points, and managing rewards distribution.
  • Supports the compliance of HR processes ensuring employee files are kept up to date and records on employees are in line with best practice.
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties and tasks as assigned to ensure smooth HR Operations that support the greater HR operations, department and associated divisions.

Requirements for Success:

  • Customer service skills.
  • Certificate III or higher in HR or related field.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage one's time efficiently.
  • Attention to detailAbility to learn quickly and adopt various computer programs.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Effective written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate as part of a team, and follow direction.
