Your Role
Joining an HR team of five, your role as HR Advisor is to provide generalist HR support and partnering across the employee lifecycle as well as strategic initiatives including performance management and reviews, employee engagement and leadership development.
This role is suitable for an intermediate to senior-level HR Advisor who is ready to step into a BP level role in the next 12-24 months.
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, your responsibilities may include:
- Support and guide managers across performance management, handling grievances, conducting investigations and managing employment changes;
- Assist in developing, implementing, and managing effective HR strategies and initiatives, including engagement activities and programs for leadership development;
- Manage essential HR processes including goal setting, career development planning, talent management, succession planning, annual salary review processes and ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards (e.g., wage reviews);
- Provide coaching and advice to managers in interpreting relevant employment legislation, Awards, industrial agreements, policies, and procedures;
- Facilitate onboarding and induction processes as required to ensure smooth transitions for new employees.

About You
You will be a self-driven and people-centric HR Advisor with a minimum of 3 years' experience at an HR Advisor level.
You must have a demonstrated understanding of both operational and strategic human resources practices within Australia, experience with performance management and disciplinary processes and bring a true partnering-style to your role as an HR professional.
You will ideally have studied at Diploma or Bachelor Degree level and be comfortable working in the agricultural industry with some travel to regional farms required.
