An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join our established HR team based at our Sunshine Coast Head Office on a temporary 6-month contract.
Reporting to the National HR & Organisation Development Manager, the HR Advisor will provide generalist support and advice to the business whilst partnering and advising the business leaders.
About the role:
- Assist the National HR & Organisation Development Manager with management tasks such as: performance management and delivery of disciplinary actions, employee retention strategies, workover claims and general employee relations.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks including letters, contracts, and other documentation.
- Provide guidance on regulations and policies around labour relations.
- Review and audit company policies.
- Process and procedure development and improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources (desirable)
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar HR role
- A demonstrated knowledge of Australian employment law
- Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to analyse and problem solve.
- Leadership mentality with ability to coach and mentor.
