This position requires a deep understanding of AU employment laws, regulations, and cultural nuances. The HR Advisor will be responsible for handling a variety of HR tasks, including employee relations, performance management, and policy adherence.Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, your contribution will include:
  • Coach and guide employees and managers on all aspects of HR including performance, engagement, development, HR policies and procedures, legislation and compliance
  • Manage employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment across the business
  • Working with leaders to conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Coordinate and support the Talent Management processes for AU with support from the HR Business Partner – Lead
  • Collaborate with the HR team on broader people and transformation initiatives
What are we looking for?
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment (preferably retail, FMCG and / or Manufacturing industries)
  • At least one years experience working in a similar role
  • Preferred experience in employee relations matters i.e. grievance handling, internal investigations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (desired but not essential)
  • Strong, proven understanding of EAs, awards, employment contracts and HR life cycle processes and policies
  • Ability to influence and be an engaging communicator who rapidly builds relationships of trust with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrates the values of a good team player
  • Have high integrity, attention to detail and understanding confidentiality and discretion
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
