About the Role:
Due to our continued growth, NRW Holdings has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team, on a fulltime basis. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be a highly organised individual who will thrive working under pressure and delivering to deadlines, whilst maintaining a high standard of service and attention to detail.
To be considered for this position as a HR Advisor, you must possess the following as a minimum:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/related discipline or equivalent
2-4 years' experience in a generalist human resources role advising leaders and managers on a wide range of HR and ER issues
High-level knowledge of relevant industrial relations and employment law
Sound knowledge of industrial instruments (i.e. National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements, etc.)
Specific interest in the enterprise agreement process
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace
2 years' experience in the mining and resource sector or construction environment
Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Hold a high level of integrity, confidentiality and credibility
As a HR Advisor, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Providing general HR support and advice to stakeholders on ER/IR matters as required
Building and managing relationships with vendors and key stakeholders and providing accurate information and advice on all areas of HR management, industrial and employee relations
Managing any grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and any relevant associated paperwork
Assist sites in complying with all legislative obligations and provide input, perspective and documentation on key issues and disputes
Assist with Enterprise Agreement bargaining
Fostering a continuous improvement culture by continually assessing and developing processes to ensure efficiency, best practice and compliance with company policies and legislation
Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices which provide effective, consistent and timely delivery of HR services
Generating accurate activity and forecast reports
Contribute to industrial relations prequalification tender assessment process
Managing and participating in HR related projects as allocated
