Reporting to the General Manager of People, this exciting opportunity will see you partner with the business to provide HR generalist duties on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Partnering with the business to provide human resource expertise to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
- Providing advice to employees and leaders on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinating onboarding processes and pre-employment checks.
- Assisting our recruitment team as required with on the ground recruitment support.
- Supporting leaders with project resource/workforce planning.
- Assist in the identification and coordination of training requirements.
- Providing employee relations advice and support to employees and leadership teams across various sites.
- Supporting the delivery of key HR projects and plans in conjunction with the broader HR team.
- Support with HR administration, documentation and data management across the employee lifecycle.
What you will bring to the role:
- Strong HR generalist knowledge and experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian employment legislation and ability to interpret this legislation.
- Experience advising people on Enterprise Agreement and Award conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully build relationships with people at all levels within the organisation.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience working within blue collar/trade environments is highly desirable.
