We operate three Clubs, Kedron-Wavell (Chermside), The Sands Social, and The Sands Bowlo (Sandgate). 
About You:
  Reporting to the People, Culture and Safety Manager this position will play a pivotal in supporting our HR function for all three locations, by providing administrative and advisory support across Recruitment and a wide range of HR processes. 
We are looking for a motivated, proactive and engaging professional who loves the blend of generalist HR coordination in a hands-on environment. Whilst recruitment activities will be a constant in your role you will be exposed to a range of HR matters and be able to develop your career as an HR Generalist.
 What your day will include, but not limited to:
  • Manage all recruitment activities across the business including attraction, onboarding, uniform supply and induction
  • Provide advice and support on human resources activities, payroll, policies and best practice 
  • Empathetic conversations with employees on employee engagement and development, performance management, retention and termination
  • Coordinating staff events and promotion of HR/WHS initiatives
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service for the business by ensuring timely and professional responses to HR queries
  • Identify opportunities to ensure continual improvements to processes and procedures
What’s needed to be successful in the role:
  • Previous experience in recruitment and talent acquisition is essential together with the ability to be hands on with recruitment activities including leadership roles 
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, workplace health and safety and award interpretation 
  •  Ability to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all levels of stakeholders 
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Fully proficient with MS Office Suite and demonstrate computer literacy and adaptability for in house systems
