We are currently seeking a HR Business Partner, experienced in providing generalist HR advice to join our friendly and collaborative team, for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
About the opportunity:
As part of the broader HR team, you will partner with the business to provide advisory and consultancy services to executives and senior management on a range of general HR matters including recruitment, performance management, organisational design, workforce planning and conflict resolution.
Remuneration / Classification:
Employment may be offered at either the ASO5 ($84,522 - $94,003 p.a.) or ASO6 ($97,022 - $102,626 p.a.) subject to skills ability and experience of the successful candidate.
About you:
You will be an experienced and capable HR professional with experience in undertaking a range of HR related project activities which assist the Agency to meet its business outcomes.
- Experienced in the development, implementation and evaluation of best practice policies, procedures, strategies and/or initiatives.
- Have the ability to work independently, under limited direction.
- Demonstrated ability to research and undertake sensitive and/or complex investigations and projects, analyse and summarise information, and develop and report on outcomes.
- A strong understanding of contemporary HR practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of the relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including Code of Ethics, EEO and cultural inclusion.
- Develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Human Resources (HR) provides advice and consultancy services on HR management and development, industrial employee relations matters including HR policy and process, job design and recruitment, leave, restructure process, flexible working, performance management and more.
