An opportunity now exists for a Human Resources Business Partner to join the team to provide day to day support to key stakeholders and drive continuous improvement activities.
The Role
Reporting through to the Chief Operating Officer, duties will include:
- Working in partnership with the business to provide general HR advice and support to all employees
- Educating, coaching and partnering with leaders to manage employee development, performance and remuneration
- Ensuring that policies and procedures are well maintained and are compliant with relevant legislation
- Providing end-to-end recruitment support to the organisation, including drafting position descriptions, candidate management, selection and onboarding
- Developing HR initiatives that align with the strategic direction and values of the organisation
- Fostering a people-centric culture where employees feel valued and appreciated
- Providing strategic HR advice to the leadership team to ensure that the organisation effectively manages risk and is aligned with best practice
- Delivering timely people reporting to the leadership team on key metrics
- Participating in and driving continuous improvement activities across the HR function
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Human Resources, Business or Management) or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to consult, negotiate, influence and partner with leaders across an organisation
- Practical, pragmatic approach and the ability to handle complex situations with tact and diplomacy
- The ability to think strategically as well as manage ambiguity and change
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and a solution driven attitude to resolving challenges
- Understanding of relevant HR standards and employment legislation
- Previous experience working within the not-for-profit sector, healthcare or a community-based organisation will be highly regarded
