About the role
You will identify, plan and lead a number of projects concentrating on staff culture, engagement and system implementation, whilst overseeing day-to-day human resource needs across the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC). You will build effective partnerships with ARDC leadership to facilitate contemporary people solutions supporting the organisation's operating model and provide expert advice on a range of people and culture services.
You will:
- conceptualise, develop and review all ADRC HR policies, processes, systems and infrastructures;
- plan, lead and manage the overall employee lifecycle for ARDC staff in conjunction with local HR teams;
- provide high quality expert advice, and support to the ARDC Senior Leadership Team; and
- lead and oversee all IR matters and build a positive employee relations climate across the ARDC and its network of host institutions.
About you
Reporting to the ARDC Chief Operating Officer, working under the broad direction of the Director, CeRDI you will manage the effective delivery of people and culture services including organisational development, culture, performance, remuneration, workplace relations, wellbeing and recruitment, in partnership with the network of ARDC's host institutions across Australia.
You will possess:
- proven expertise in the management of significant human resources;
- demonstrated experience providing high level and complex HR advice and services;
- demonstrated experience facilitating clients through robust HR practices; and
- demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to identify issues or problems and recommend strategies, ideas and opportunities for resolving them.
