THE ROLE
This role has been created due rapid growth where the strategic sales team, are winning volume tenders, and therefore requiring further support staff.
Reporting to the Director where the organisation is focussed on finding the "right HR mentor for the business", and mindful of work lifestyle balance, this HR vacancy will allow you flexibility while you add value and ensure company and industry standards are met.
Responsibilities will be not just for the recruitment lifecycle and selection, but also looking at current policies and procedures, performance challenges, and company awards, escalating and making decision for best practice
Core duties will include:
- Coordination of employment matters across the business,
- Acting as first point of contact for line manager and senior stakeholders
- Run the daily functions of hiring and interviewing staff, providing accurate data in end-to-end specialist talent acquisition including strategy, screening, assessment, selection, and contract negation.
- Administering pay, benefits, and leave,
- Enforcing company policies and practices.
- Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues
- Support the Directors in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience
- Offer proactive recruiting assistance
- Identify ways to improve policies and procedures
- Prepare termination and severance letters
- Train and provide support to HR team members
- Working as a trustworthy collaborator to the business using data and intelligence to inform recruitment tactics and strategies.

THE ESSENTIALS
- Advisory or partner experience in a large organisation or similar.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in HR policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of hiring processes
- Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- A person with a can-do attitude, who thrives on timelines and variety
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline and advantage.
