Key Responsibilities:
Planning, Reporting, and Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all details are up-to-date.
- Serve as the go-to for HR-related information and advice.
- Liaise with external HR consultants for complex employee matters.
- Coordinate and report on key HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Continuously improve HR systems to meet organizational needs.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create detailed job descriptions.
- Facilitate the entire recruitment process from job ads to onboarding.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Performance Management:
- Foster a positive employer-employee relationship and high morale.
- Conduct surveys to measure employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Coach managers on effective communication and feedback.
- Lead performance management and improvement processes.
- Advise on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
HR Policies and Procedures:
- Stay updated on current HR policies, legislation, and best practices.
- Lead the review and development of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure continuous improvement and compliance with HR procedures.
Training, Learning, and Development:
- Assess and address the organisation's training and development needs.
- Develop and implement comprehensive capability development programs.
- Coordinate training delivery to ensure the best learning experiences.
- Manage the annual Training & Development Program budget.
Organisational Participation:
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to achieve strategic goals.
- Contribute to risk management and compliance efforts.
- Commit to continuous professional development and process improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management / Teaching or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a HR or Training management role.
- Proven experience in workforce planning, recruitment, employee engagement, and HR information systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
