Our client is an established business with over thirty years in the Australian market providing a valuable service to their customer base. As part of a multinational group, the HR Manager will be part of the executive HR team managing a dispersed team of HR professionals.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, and in partnership with the executive HR leadership team, you will lead a team of HR professionals ensuring the effective delivery of HR partnerships across the business. You will be responsible for the delivery and support of strategic people focused initiatives, building the capabilities of the business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support the team of HR professionals ensuring best practice HR solutions are delivered across the organisation.
- In partnership with the leadership team, develop and implement strategic initiatives enhancing leadership capability and building change management.
- Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures.
- Support the HR team to successfully negotiate Enterprise Agreements and manage risk of Industrial Action.
What you will bring
To be successful you will be degree qualified in Human Resources Management or equivalent. You will have proven track record as a HR leader, with essential experience form a blue- and white-collar workforce. You will have sound understanding of the local employment legislation together with knowledge of contemporary people practices. You will have high level of commercial acumen and business interest.
