Aligned Leisure is a 100% owned subsidiary of the Richmond Football Club, established as a vehicle to manage the operations of Richmond’s health, fitness and leisure business activities. The Head of Facilities will work across all departments to ensure all facilities are diligently maintained and presented to the highest possible standards in a safe and environmentally responsible way. They will ensure customer satisfaction in the physical environments is maximised supporting our customer first philosophy.
The Head of Facilities is also responsible for aquatic supervision across all four Albury Wodonga Aquatic Facilities and the operational performance of the three seasonal aquatic facilities. Supported by a Swim Centre Captain at each of WAVES, Albury and Lavington Swim Centres and a team of Duty Captains and Lifeguards, they will be relentless in maximising participation and revenue opportunities for the three seasonal pools.
A key aspect of this position is the setup of systems and work practices across all Albury Wodonga Aquatic Facilities ensuring operational excellence is maintained. Focus areas for this position are asset management, facility presentation, risk, safety and environmental management.
The department head will maintain exceptional working relationships with Albury and Wodonga Council staff as well as other Heads of Department, especially the Head of People & Compliance in the seasonal recruitment and on-boarding of staffing teams.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in aquatic and asset management
- Tertiary qualifications desirable, not essential
- Lifeguard qualification
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Working with Children Check
