Our client is a US based Sushi Franchise and Wholesale corporation. They currently have over 4000 sushi bars in supermarkets and other food service sectors throughout Australia, the US and Canada. With nearly 40 years’ of experience, this organisation has become market leaders in the US. They have been operating in Australia for over 10 years and are continuously expanding, having recently started a wholesale stream. They currently operate in 220 sites in multiple states across Australia and are growing at a strong rate.

About the Opportunity
The role will see you run the HR department smoothly, providing strategic input to ensure its operations run smoothly. Some responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement effective HR frameworks, policies and procedures
- Partner with management to ensure HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
- Create strategies to attract, retain and manage staff
- Develop staff training materials as required
- Investigate employee issues in order to find a resolution
- Provide HR guidance to franchise owners and management
- Manage and provide guidance to one HR team member
- Take part in special business projects
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to bring a few years of experience working in a similar role. We are also open to looking at candidates who are ready to take the next step into a Manager's role. You will be able to problem-solve and liaise with various stakeholders, simultaneously bringing positive vibes to the organisation.
