Details: Transport Canberra is seeking an experienced Human Resource (HR) Officer who will provide high-level advice and support to Fleet Operations Managers and Supervisors. You will be skilled in interpreting and applying legislation, policy, guidelines with a focus on building positive relationships. We will need you to have strong written and verbal communication skills. The HR Officer is responsible for managing all recruitment activities, onboarding and offboarding, escalation of payroll queries, position management, learning and development and general HR support to meet operational requirements.

We are looking for you to be a well-rounded and experienced HR/administrator who is effective at managing competing priorities and is flexible in approach. You will need to possess strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience in the delivery of HR practices.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

• Permanent Resident of Australia.
• This position does not require a pre-employment medical.
• HR Qualifications and experience is highly desirable.

Notes: This temporary position is due to commence in July 2024 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.
