Key Duties:
- Serve as the initial HR contact, addressing inquiries from a knowledge database and team.
- Assist in work health and safety planning, management, and reporting.
- Provide advice in relation to performance, WHS, rehabilitation and employee relations.
- Contribute to the development of policy, procedures, guidelines and tip sheets for employees.
- Coordinate, report and assist with the management of incident reporting, remote work agreements, workstation assessments, conflict of interests and other regular reporting processes.
- Perform administrative and secretariat assistance.
- Other duties as required.
- Effective verbal and written communication for addressing HR matters and advising employees.
- Understanding of relevant legislation, including the Public Service Act 1999, Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as record-keeping, meeting coordination, and providing secretariat support.
- Capacity to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration with the HR Manager and team members to implement WHS measures and support programs.
