Form of workThe Uniting Church in the City is a Not-for-Profit based in the heart of the CBD encompassing three congregations and a number of community outreach programs. We are seeking to recruit a part-time Human Resources & Payroll Officer to our centrally located Perth office.
About This Role
You will play a key role in the office, responsible for the of the day-to-day management of the Human Resources and payroll functions. Including, but not limited to recruitment, HR policy implementation and review, record keeping, and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:
- The accurate and timely processing, reconciliation, and day-to-day management of the payroll function.
- Assisting with advertising vacancies, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Ensuring HR policies are implemented, and personnel records are accurately maintained.
What We Are Looking For:
- A capable, self-motivated person with a minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with MYOB AccountRight and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of our team.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary qualification in Human Resources or Accounting/Bookkeeping (or working towards).
Must Have:
- Ability to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church in Australia and support the vision and values of the Uniting Church in the City.
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for).
