We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic team member to join our payroll team as 'Payroll Advisor'. This is a fulltime, permanent opportunity and location can be Brisbane or Sydney with flexible work arrangements!

- Processing fortnightly end-to-end payroll in Micropay for approximately 350 employees
- Monthly processing of superannuation and completing appropriate records
- Overseeing all integrations between HRIS and Time and Attendance system, Connx and Micropay for payroll processing, onboarding, leave and completing other imports/exports as required.
- Completing end of pay process, as well as month end and year end reporting and reconciliation processes
- Completing wage reconciliation processes as and when required and assisting with compliance-related reporting
- Completing Workers Compensation Insurance documentation on an annual basis
- Answering all leave or pay related questions
- Maintaining HR systems in relation to onboarding and exiting employees
- Preparing and providing monthly headcount reports as well as other ad hoc reporting as required
- Processing any variations to employment and other documents as required.
- Reviewing payroll processes on an ongoing basis to facilitate continuous improvement, and payroll efficiency and accuracy
- Assisting with and advising on payroll-related Diabetes Australia unification processes and system implementation where required
- Previous working experience with Micropay payroll system is essential
- Previous experience working with time and attendance systems is essential
- Experience with Connx desirable
- Proven experience running an end to end payroll process, ideally within an environment with exposure to salary packaging
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency, and be flexible in meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
- High levels of resilience and ability to work in an environment of constant change.
- A strong customer service ethos and a willingness to go the extra mile for internal stakeholders
