The Human Resource Department provides a high standard of support and advice to employees and management in the various human resource (HR) and work health safety (WHS) functions in line with program guidelines, organisations policy and procedures and relevant employment legislation.
The Recruitment Officer is responsible for providing high-level administration and coordination of recruitment process in a large, diverse, multi-location organisation in order for the organization to meet its objectives. This position has a particular focus on high volume end-to-end recruitment using digital communication in line policy and procedures in accordance with relevant employment legislation.

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment spanning sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting offers, role descriptions and employment contracts.Use your knowledge to select the most appropriate and effective channels for sourcing candidates including use of social media and other direct methods.In coordination with the HR Manager, contribute to the development of recruitment advertising campaigns.Update and maintain the career’s website and social media accounts.Liaise with external stakeholders such as recruitment agencies and advertising channels.Coordinate and participate in careers expos and other recruitment-related events.Schedule interviews with managers, team leaders and HR representatives across our various locations.Calendar coordination/ IT set up/ relevant documents printed etc.Represent HR on interview panels when required.Provide timely responses to unsuccessful applicants.Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic recruitment records, in accordance with policies and procedures.Coordinate relocation of new staff from interstate.Liaise closely with Human Resources Officer around staff induction.Work within limits of confidentiality and privacy appropriate to the programUpdate and maintain organisation chart on a fortnightly basis.Support the development of effective operational systems:
Contribute to the establishment, implementation, and review of recruitment procedures.Preparing reports and monitor analytics to evaluate recruitment activities.Undertake a range of tasks that contribute to system improvements as directed by the HR ManagerSupport and maintain current policies to ensure the organisation meets compliance obligations.Support the HR team as requested by the HR Manager.Consistently perform with a high workload and competing demands.2+ years' experience of working in high volume recruitment position.A high level of competency with MS Office including calendar management (Outlook)Experience with databases and extrapolating data.Proven ability to handle high volumes of work, prioritise workloads and meet agreed timeframes.Exceptional eye for detail.Professional, ethical with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.Strong interpersonal and communication skills including candidate care and stakeholder engagement, both internal and external.Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with First Nations people.Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Remuneration and Benefits
