HR / Recruitment Officer

PERSOLKELLY is one of Australia's largest and longest serving recruitment providers. Delivering both quality temporary and permanent options, we specialise in the recruitment of Professional, ICT, Government, STEM, Management and Executive talent.

We are working with our large mineral client based in Perth, CBD who is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR / Recruitment Officer. This role will be 50% HR and 50% Recruitment. This is a 2months assignment with the potential to extend.

Location: Perth CBD, Western Australia

Hours: Monday to Friday

Start date: IMMEDIATE

Pay rate: $40 - $50 per hour

Duration: 2months (may extend)

The Role

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities
  • Execute recruitment strategies and onboarding procedures
  • Coordinate job advertisements for reactive or proactive recruitment needs
  • Source candidates via multiple recruitment channels
  • Manage job advertisements via Job Adder
  • Conduct face to face and virtual interviews
  • Checking and reviewing the relevant documentation including identification, inductions, qualifications, licenses, tickets, schedules and rosters
  • Schedule and coordinate shutdowns personnel via company database.
  • Other general administration duties including data entry, system-based activity tracking, reporting and general email correspondence
  • Worker Compensation claim administration
  • Facilitate fitness for duty process.
  • Responsible for co-ordination of rehabilitation programmes with a range of internal and external professionals, workplace supervisors and Health and Safety
  • Case management of performance and conduct concerns (low to mid-level complexity/seriousness)
  • Development, implementation, and regular review of HR policies & procedures
  • Maintain records as appropriate
  • Ensure policies are updated and compliant

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar recruitment role
  • Must have proven experience following strict processes and adhering to company compliance
  • A positive and pro-active approach to work
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and think on your feet
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Ability to pick up and learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite
