As a Recruitment Officer at Veale Auto Parts, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top talent to meet the staffing needs of our organisation. You will manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing, on boarding, and maintaining staff files.
Essential Criteria
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Create and post job advertisements on various platforms, including seek etc and social media.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist potential candidates.
- Conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually, to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with managers and candidates.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
- Assist with the offer process, including salary negotiations and contract preparation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and metrics to HR management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
To Be Successful You Must Possess
- Some experience in recruitment, HR, or a related field is preferred.
- Understanding of recruitment techniques, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in excel.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Current Driver's License.
