Work for a leading gold producer as an HR Superintendent. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing strategic HR guidance to operational leaders, driving performance through data-driven insights, and fostering a positive workplace culture.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR advice and support to operational leaders on people management matters.
- Utilise metrics and analytics to drive performance improvements across the sites.
- Conduct complex workplace investigations and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
- Lead site-specific initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and First Nations employment.
- Educate leaders on compliance matters related to the Fair Work Act and other relevant regulations.
- Facilitate supervisor/superintendent days to align leadership strategies with HR objectives
- Attend operational department meetings to provide input on people initiatives aimed at improving culture, absenteeism, turnover, and other metrics.
- Proven experience in a site-based HR leadership role within the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Strong understanding of mining operations and the unique HR challenges in remote site environments.
- Ability to lead and inspire a small team with support from a centralised HR regional team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex HR issues.
- Knowledge of employment law, particularly the Fair Work Act, and its application in industrial settings.
- Experience in implementing and evaluating HR initiatives aimed at improving organisational culture and employee relations.
