AddressWe have an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Superintendent to join our high performing Finance team based in our corporate office in Perth.
About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will give you the best of both worlds, as you will be based in Perth with approx. 5 days a month spent on site to work with our site teams to complete cost reviews, forecasting and various reporting requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinating and completing the End of Month Reporting process for Operations
- Responsibility for the operations monthly cost review and reporting including inventory & stockpile valuations, expenditure commitments and depreciation & amortisation
- Responsibility for the operations monthly Capital Expenditure review and reporting
- Co-ordinating and completing the Annual and Mid-Year Budgeting and Forecasting process for the Operations
- Responsibility for maintaining the accuracy of the Group budgeting (Xeras) and reporting (QlikSense) tool in collaboration with the Group Business Systems Team
- Provide support to the GM Operations on Commercial matters pertaining to suppliers and services
What Do I Need?
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance
- CPA/CA qualifications
- Previous site and/or operational based accounting experience in the mining industry
- Experience with end of month reporting process, cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting with strong analytical and numeracy skills and high attention to details.
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Pronto or similar ERP Systems experience with exposure to BI Reporting Tool.
