Position Overview:Perenti Contract Mining is seeking an experienced
Superintendent Communications to join our global team. This pivotal role will lead a diverse team of communication professionals located around the world. The
Superintendent Communications will play a critical role in supporting our Contract Mining division, ensuring effective internal communications that align with our business agenda and senior leadership requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a global communications team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive annual and priority-specific communication plans that will ensure employees are informed and engaged in regular and effective ways.
- Execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with company goals and enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Produce compelling content for various platforms, including website, social media, newsletters, and internal communications.
- Enhancing the digital media skills within the communications team.
- Act as the primary contact between the Contract Mining division and the Perenti Group Marketing & Communications team to ensure alignment and cohesion in messaging and strategy.
- Mobilise and coordinate select external events and presentations, ensuring that the Contract Mining division is well represented and attendees can speak with authority to the divisions agenda and priorities.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring they are aligned with brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages.
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute communication strategies that enhance engagement and convey key messages effectively.
- Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior communications role, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse, international team.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Experience in managing media relations and crisis communications is preferred.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced global environment.
