The role
The HR Support Officer will be at the forefront of our recruitment process and assist hiring managers with providing advice and support within the Department of Health Recruitment Services Team. You will be the first-point of contact for advice and support regarding job evaluations and criminal history checks to ensure efficiency and compliance with relevant legislations, policies and Directives. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, key eye for detail and are passionate about supporting our team in finding the best talent.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide timely, high-quality support and advice on job evaluations and criminal history checks.
- Maintain a professional approach to all tasks to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and quality of health data and personal information at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of recruitment project work, including project scheduling and documentation development as required.
- Provide quality services in word processing, spreadsheet development, data input and data analysis relating to recruitment.

You will have demonstrated:
The successful candidate will have a passion for Human Resources and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to successfully liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will have demonstrated experience in managing your workload to meet competing deadlines and be proficient in the application of computerised information systems and applications including HR Systems and Microsoft Office Suites. You will have a proactive and collaborative mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
