adaptCARE, a leading Tasmanian Disability support company and Registered NDIS Provider, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR/Compliance Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and CEO, this critical role ensures our Human Resource practices align with legal regulations and ethical standards. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with NDIS policies and ensuring high-quality support for our participants.
adaptCARE is a state-wide participant focused Tasmanian disability support company. Providing short term accommodation (Respite), Community Access, Support Coordination, Physical Disability Support, ABI, Dementia and Mental Health and Mentoring Support, in home Services and supports, and Supported Independent Living (SIL), Nursing Services.
In this role, you will oversee recruitment, manage compliance and auditing processes, address employee relations, and co-ordinate staff training.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2 years in equivalent role with strong expertise in performance management, recruitment, and compliance.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum requirement. Tertiary qualifications in HR management, business administration, or related field highly regarded.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software, strong knowledge and proven expertise in computing technologies and database maintenance
- Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation skills
Other Requirements:
- State-wide travel as required to meet business needs
- Provision of a satisfactory National Police Check
- Provision of satisfactory reference checks
- Working with Vulnerable People Registration – NDIS endorsed
