Company & Position Overview:We are collaborating with a utilities firm based in Victoria, embarking on a significant HRIS implementation project. They seek a Systems Lead for an initial 9-month contract. As the HR Systems Lead, you will manage a dynamic team, serving as the primary contact for all HR systems matters. Your primary focus will involve managing day-to-day HR systems operations, with a strong emphasis on UKG Workforce Ready.Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in Chris21 to manage employee files and leave balances, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in HRIS operations.
- Drive changes to enterprise agreements, working with vendors to implement these changes and ensure smooth transitions for all employees.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, conduct in-depth system issue analyses, and communicate effectively with the support team to resolve HR systems challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the hiring manager to facilitate the new system's go-live, provide hypercare during extensions, and ensure a seamless transition for all stakeholders.
- Participate in stakeholder discussions, gather feedback, and drive system improvements to meet the organization's evolving needs.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and automation to contribute to the continuous evolution of the HR systems landscape.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or HR (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience with UKG Workforce Ready, Chris21, and Kronos.
- Ability to conduct detailed analyses of system issues, troubleshoot schedules, and communicate effectively with the support team and stakeholders.
- Strong interest in the HR systems field, focusing on day-to-day operations and resolving complex system issues.
- Ability to collaborate closely with the hiring manager and support team, as well as engage in stakeholder discussions to drive system improvements.
- Experience in amending enterprise agreements and collaborating with UKG to implement these changes seamlessly.
- Proficiency in Chris21, with the ability to effectively manage employee files and leave balances.
- Willingness to navigate a new system go-live and provide hypercare during extensions, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
