AddressGregory Fabrications is a family-owned and operated business located in the heart of the CQ Region. Our expertise lays in repairs, maintenance, and machining and fabrication, with our staff comprised of diverse individuals in various roles including Diesel Fitters, Boilermakers and Trades Assistants, supported by our dedicated Administration Staff based in Clermont.
Gregory Fabrications are seeking a get-up-and-go individual to join our admin team in a HR/Payroll position.
Immediate start is preferable.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 40hrs/week (full-time/casual contract)
- Minimum Yr12 education
- Microsoft-literate (including Word and Excel)
- Knowledge or willingness to learn legislative and statutory requirements, including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, worker's compensation and reporting
- High-level organisation skills and attention to detail
- Experience using Employment Hero is beneficial
Past experience in a similar role is desirable, but not mandatory - training will be provided for the right applicant
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Following through the entire recruitment process and onboarding new staff
- Sending out Letter of Offers
- Setting and amending Employment Contracts
- Amending/updating pay rates as required
- Approving timesheets
- Processing fortnightly pay runs
- Liaising with Managers to approve leave requests
- Reviewing current processes, and suggesting and implementing improvements
- Monthly submissions of Super and Coal Miners LSL
- General administration duties (answering and transferring phone calls)
