AddressAt Osmoflo, we are leaders in water treatment solutions, committed to sustainable practices and operational excellence. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a dedicated HSE Advisor to join our team and drive our Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives across the business.
As the HSE Advisor you will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance and support to ensure effective risk management strategies, regulatory compliance, and continual improvement in HSE practices. Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, you will work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HSE guidance and support, aligned with Osmoflo's HSE Strategy.
- Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement controls.
- Ensure compliance with legal responsibilities and company HSE policies.
- Manage hazardous chemical programs and incident reporting and investigations.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs and maintain training matrices.
- Maintain HSE systems including Skytrust Risk Management Software and ISO certification.
- Assist in customer HSE activities such as audits, inspections, and site management plans.
- Coordinate health surveillance and wellbeing programs.
- Act as the Return to Work Coordinator, ensuring effective injury management strategies.
Position Requirements/Selection Criteria:
- Certificate IV Work Health and Safety and Return to Work Co-ordinator is essential
- Proven WHS experience in heavy industries.
- Practical knowledge of WHS legislation and hazardous chemicals management.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and mentor teams effectively.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices.
