Hse Coordinator - New Build & Refurb/Fit-Out Up To $50M+

Great opportunity to work for a professional renowned national head contractor. Our client is an established leader in the construction industry who are known for their high-quality practices.  They are now seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their growing construction business in Sydney NSW.
  
Reporting to HSE Manager, you will be responsible for onsite safety compliance across all phases of the projects. You will have a hands-on approach in improving the health and safety on projects, coordinate the daily safety plans, manage subcontractor SWMS, conduct site visits, conduct site safety training, manage any health and safety issues that arise and identity potential risk and solutions.
  
Offering a range of services to their high-end clients, the company specialises in New Build, refurb and complex fitout of Health, Commercial, Residential, Education, Government, Hotels, Hospitality and Leisure sector projects.  Incorporating a wide range of skillsets, their refurbishment work can have a large element of structural trades, heavy demolition, facades, steel, and concrete (adding or removing levels etc).
  
The ideal candidate will have: 

• Certificate IV in OHS or higher
• Circa 3 to 10yrs+ experience in a similar role
• Superior knowledge of WHS Legislation
• Ideally previous experience in commercial construction – New Build or fitout/refurbishment projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with people
• Construction Safety Induction (White) Card
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
