Hse Manager - Interstate Travel

Are you an HSE Manager wanting to work for a market leading tier 3 builder? My client has the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:

• Interstate travel required weekly
• Maintain ISO accreditations and schedule periodic audits for ongoing compliance.
• Manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) and implement initiatives to improve it, including procedures, processes, and safe work systems.
• Establish and enforce an internal audit schedule to ensure compliance with accreditations and legislation across all sites and offices.
• Coordinate with registration bodies, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers as necessary.
• Hold overall responsibility for incidents and near-miss investigations and reporting.
• Ensure the company meets legislative obligations and drives continuous improvement in health and safety.
• Standardise the approach to standards among project teams.
• Develop and deliver relevant health and safety training throughout the organisation.
• Undertake additional projects as assigned by management.

Capabilities:

• 4 + Years experience in Commercial Construction - Fit out highly regarded.
• Detailed knowledge and experience maintaining Australian and International standards within the Australian construction industry.
• Recognised HSEQ qualifications
• Previous experience running an IMS system compliant with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 through accredited bodies.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting internal safety audits and incident investigations across numerous sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to lead from the front.
• Ability to build relationships and influence people at all levels.
• Drive and determination to deliver in challenging situations.
• Willingness to respond promptly to any emergencies that may occur regarding HSEQ.
• Proficient use of MS Office: especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
• Valid NSW driver’s license
