The Role:As the
HSE Systems and Governance Lead, you will be responsible for leading the continual improvement, governance framework, and compliance of Yurika’s HSE management system (HSEMS). This will be done by facilitating improvements
and Governance activities for the HSE group.You will be lead, develop, and mentor a small multidisciplinary team to provide HSE support to project activities by embedding continual improvement of the HSEMS to ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are applied and adhered to in project delivery.You will collaborate with peers and HSE subject matter experts to proactively seek trends in data and information to identify, communicate, and improve the manage of HSE risk.You can be located at any major centre in Queensland where Energy Queensland have an office, including Brisbane, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, and Cairns.With flexi-working and a 9 or 10 day fortnight in place, the bottom of the salary band from starts from $164,752 for 9 days and $186,170 for 10 days + 12.75% superannuation. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position. About You:In addition to your Bachelor of Health, Safety, and Environment (or related discipline), you will also have highly developed HSE project/program management skills. You have the ability to prioritise and manage personal and team deadlines.You are analytical and have strong problem solving skills, and have demonstrable capability in planning, organising, leading, and mentoring a team.Additionally, you have the ability to challenge and support management to ensure the outcome of safe operational effectiveness. You have proven knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to WHS, as well as the Electricity Supply Industry.Finally, you have capability with computers and can develop technical reports and position related documentation and processes.Why work for Yurika?
