HSEQ Advisor (8:6)

We currently have multiple clients within the mining, transport and logistics sector who are looking for great HSEQ Advisors to join their team. 

Positions will be based on an 8:6 FIFO roster, flying to the Pilbara or Goldfields region.

About you?

You are looking for your next role which will give you the challenge and career progression you are seeking. 

You love being in the field, and building strong relationships with everyone from the work crews through to site management.

• Minimum Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety, 
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a site-based HSE related role within the Mining/Resource industry, 
• Sound knowledge of West Australian WHS legalisation and regulations, 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, 
• Incident investigation experience and/or ICAM qualified. 

Duties and responsibilities may include: 

• Field leadership and interactions, 
• Guide, mentor and advise employees at all levels of the workforce on matters related to HSEQ,  
• Providing support to the wider HSE team function - including both the site and Perth-based team, 
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for future risk mitigation, 
• Collation and analysis of data and key metrics for reporting, 
• Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the HSEQ management system,
• Assisting with any incident investigations and following up accordingly, 
• Reviewing any documentation including JHAs, risk assessments and safe work practices,
• Assisting with any training requirements as required.
