We are currently seeking applications from experienced HSEQAdvisors for an 8/6 roster roving position across our southernBowen Basin projects (currently Baralaba, Callide, Jellinbah andYarrabee). A Company Vehicle will be provided to you to travelbetween sites and to and from home.
Reporting to the HSEQ Superintendent,you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing advice to Project teams based on legislative requirements and company philosophy (mentoring & coaching role to key players)
- Supporting and assisting supervisors and employees on daily health, safety and environmental issues
- Playing a key role in the implementation of Project Safety and Environmental Plans
- Maintaining records and the HSEQ database
- Conducting regular workplace inspections and audits
- Participating in incident investigations
- Driving the corrective actions register
- Building good attitudes and behaviours towards safety
- Conducting inductions where required
- Assisting the team to develop JHA's
- Coordinate the site emergency procedures when required
- Stay up to date with relevant HSEQ legislation
Experience/Qualificationsrequired:
- Cert IV in WHS/OHS or higher
- Excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and reuirements
- Exposure to Mining or Civil work environments
- Standard 11
- Intermediate computer skills
- S123 and G2
- ICAM
- Apply First Aid
- Drug and Alcohol Testing qualification
- Auditing qualification or experience
