About the Role:
Reporting directly to our CISO / Head of Compliance your role will incorporate a broad scope across HSEQ and Information Security. As a vital member of our team, you will help us stay aligned with top international standards (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 27001) through close collaboration with our staff and management team.
You will also have a keen interest to seek out and suggest improvements and be actively involved in our business focus on cyber security with ongoing education to our teams to avoid cyber threats and breaches.
Your week will be varied and you will embrace a busy and fast paced environment, carrying out the key functions:
HSEQ - conduct regular audits both local and interstate and facilitating external audits
IMS / ISMS Maintenance: Review, update, and maintain the IMS to reflect current operations and compliance requirements as well as internal training modules.
Cyber Security - Actively contribute at committee meetings as well as supporting and taking ownership of the delivery of cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard the organisation's information assets.
Your role will be pivotal to maintaining our high operational standards and undertaking the administrative support necessary to reach these goals.
About You:
- Certificate IV in WHS or willing to undertake/complete training in this area.
- Previous industry experience working within and managing Compliance, Quality Management or Cyber security will be advantageous
- A keen interest to learn about our business and broaden your skills within the context of driving forward HSEQ and compliance initiatives
- Ability to liaise and develop positive working relationships across the business to facilitate outcomes
- Confidence and maturity to hold sensitive and confidential discussions.
- Strong written, verbal and spoken communication skills
- Independent, initiative-driven, and a keen problem solver.
- Confident and quick to learn new IT systems and ability to educate other
