HSEQ Coordinator
ABOUT
Core Talent have partnered with a highly reputable civil infrastructure and solutions national company who are looking to grow their Sunshine Coast team.
This position would suit a more junior - mid level experienced candidate who would be looking to grow within safety and consulting. The role will be 80% office based with 20% site meetings.
The company is looking for a candidate who is immediately available and offering a permanent position with perks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Participate in HSE training programs and provide support in delivering training sessions.
- Collect, analyse, and report HSE data and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of risk assessments and safety plans.
- Promote a positive safety culture and environmental awareness throughout the organization.
- Keep up to date with HSE legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate in WHS
- Basic understanding of HSE principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
