We are seeking an experienced Human Resource professional to support the Rail business, based in Keswick on an on-going full-time basis.
The Rail business is made up of Australia's iconic train journeys, The Ghan, Indian Pacific, Great Southern and The Overland. Rail Expeditions is part of the Journey Beyond Group, a dynamic experience-based tourism business focused on sharing the special places in which it operates and creating and shaping lasting memories for all of its guests.
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our innovative team as a Human Resource Business Partner, supporting the business to provide exceptional HR support, guidance, and leadership. You will be responsible for :
- partnering with the business on the delivery of key projects and managing the day-to-day HR operations of the business as part of a team
- supporting recruitment, talent identification and onboarding needs across the business
- coaching and mentoring people leaders and providing robust stakeholder support
- employee and industrial relations, performance management, grievances and learning and development
- training delivery and end-to-end coordination of training across the business
About you
You will be a savvy, smart, commercial HR professional with experience in developing high-quality HR solutions that will enable the business to deliver on its key commercial drivers and people management initiatives. Experience is a must for this opportunity.
You must be a resilient all-rounder who has relevant Industrial, and Employee Relations skills coupled with the ability to relate and engage a diverse team across multiple locations. You will love to have fun in your role and get involved in operational HR activities.
You are passionate about experiential tourism, a contemporary thinker and someone who is driven and understands how to partner and support all Human Resource functions whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
