As a Human Resources Generalist, your role is to support the HR department and the organisation as a whole in various areas of Human Resources management.
Your responsibilities may include recruitment and onboarding of new employees, employee relations, performance management, training and development, benefits administration, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and HR policy implementation. You will also be involved in handling employee inquiries, resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters. Additionally, you may be responsible for maintaining HR records, analysing HR data, and contributing to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving the overall employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
Your role as an HR Generalist is crucial in ensuring a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement, and supporting the organisation's strategic goals through effective HR practices and policies.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Performance Management: Assisting with performance evaluations, goal setting, and performance improvement plans for employees.
- Training and Development: Coordinating training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities for employees.
- Benefits Administration: Managing employee benefits programs, assisting with benefits enrolment, and addressing benefits-related inquiries.
- HR Policy Implementation: Ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labour laws, and updating policies as needed.
- Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate HR records, including employee files, attendance records, and other HR-related documentation.
- Data Analysis: Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions.
- Employee Communication: Communicating with employees on HR-related matters, such as policy updates, benefits changes, and upcoming events.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Full time availability
- Strong computer skills
- Tertiary degree in Human Resource Management
- Minimum 3 Experience in a HR generalist or HR Advisory Management role
- Solid communication skills and the ability to coach, develop and support others
- Strong organisation skills and able to juggle day to day functions with ongoing projects
- Experience in the childcare industry is preferable
- Trustworthy, dedicated and looking to a long term role
