Marland Mushrooms QLD is a family run business that produces mushrooms in bulk to supply to the major grocery stores from our state of the art growing facility in Stapylton (Yatala turn off) within the Brisbane - Gold Coast Corridor.

You will enjoy the challenge of running our general administration, supporting our departmental managers and ensuring we attract and retain our talent. You will be willing to:
- Develop a recruitment strategy to drive solutions to ensure the business is fully resourced
- Work with management team to ensure succession plans are in place and development plans implemented
- Collaborate across all teams and offer support to our diverse team
- Be the primary contact for all HR Matters, including supporting our new talent and ensuring that competency and development plans are completed in a timely manner
- Work as part of a cohesive and highly engaged team
- Conduct site inductions and ensure on boarding process is smooth
- Conduct exit interviews and provide constructive feedback as and when required
- Management reporting
- Develop retention strategies that drive high levels of staff engagement
- Develop Working knowledge of relevant legislation's and company policies
- Embrace our culturally rich diverse team

- Add value to the recruitment and retention initiatives
- Other functional tasks that support our internal processes
You will possess:
- A naturally engaging communication style
- At least two years relevant experience
- A willingness to learn more and effect organizational change
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with performance management and disciplinary action
- Past recruitment success
- Effective time management
- An ability to multitask and overcome obstacles
- A high attention to detail
- Computer skills
- Admin skills
