Your Role: As the HR professional in our team, you'll be the cornerstone and leader of all HR activities, playing a pivotal role in shaping our workforce and nurturing our company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Join a positive executive team and report to the Managing Director, developing and implementing HR strategies and leading our organisation to be an Employer of choice!
- Oversee talent acquisition, ensuring we attract and retain individuals who are passionate about our environmental mission.
- Manage onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and career development initiatives.
- Handle all employee relations matters, fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace and driving a positive work culture.
- Administer compensation and benefits to ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Champion pgg’s ethos in every aspect of HR, reinforcing our commitment to safety, integrity, and innovation.
- Analyse HR metrics to drive improvements and report directly to senior management.
- Independently manage the entire scope of HR responsibilities, from recruitment to retirement, and strategically recruit an HR team.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications preferred.
- Significant experience in HR, with a track record of managing all aspects of HR single-handedly.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and a commitment to ethical practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
