Being part of TAFE Queensland as a Human Resource Officer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of cost efficient, high quality and client responsive Human Resource (HR) services to our Regional workforce of around 600 employees.
The Role
We have an exciting temporary full-time Human Resources Officer position available until 28 June 2024 (unless otherwise determined), working as part of our Human Resources team at TAFE Queensland’s Toowoomba Campus.
The full-time hours for this position are 36 hours and 15 minutes per week, with the ability to accrue additional hours/flex time to support your work-life balance.
This position reports to the Manager, Human Resources.
Salary
The salary range for this position at the AO3 classification is $73,676 - $82,864 (gross) per annum.

How you will be assessed
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
- Provide accurate advice in relation to employee conditions and entitlements and recruitment and selection services, in accordance with relevant legislation, directives, awards, policies and procedures.
- Possess skill in the operation of computerised systems including word processing, database, spreadsheets and corporate information systems.
- Function autonomously in a team environment and prioritise work commitments to achieve quality, accurate outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Possess knowledge of project management including the ability to meet deadlines set, achieve realistic goals and establish work priorities.
- Possess high level interpersonal and communication skills that enable the establishment of effective working relationships with both internal and external clients.
