An opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to join our large successful Company as Human Resources Advisor at our Hanwood Plant located in NSW. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be required to utilise your administration and people skills and will mediate with Managers and employees on all day-to-day activities relating to HR/IR.
**The successful candidate will be required to work onsite Monday to Friday.
Key tasks:
- Provide HR advice and assistance to Managers and employees
- Performance counselling, prepare warning letters and provide advice on performance issues whilst adhering to Company policies and procedures
- Conduct workplace investigations
- Assist with recruitment and selection including immigration checks
- Assist payroll officer with all time and attendance and payroll queries when required
Critical skills and experience required:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate reports
- Computer literate with accurate data entry skills
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to interpret Australian workplace Awards, Agreements and relevant Industrial Relations legislation
- Attention to detail
- Good mediation skills
- Previous Human Resources experience will be preferred by not essential
- Must have current drivers licence and personal vehicle
Full onsite training will be provided to the successful applicant.
