What You'll Do
You will play a pivotal role in:
- P&C Strategy Development and HR Culture Enhancement: Enhance and support our established People and Culture framework and strategies that align with business goals, promote best practices, and foster a positive workplace culture within the organisation.
- Recruitment Process Oversight: Oversee the entire recruitment process, including talent acquisition, interviewing, and onboarding, to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent. Implement retention strategies to keep the team engaged and motivated.
- Training and Professional Development Management: Design, plan, and deliver impactful training sessions and professional development programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our team, fostering continuous learning, career advancement, and employee growth.
- HR Expertise and Compliance: Provide expert advice on complex HR issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and legal compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and morale, creating a workplace where everyone feels valued.
- Performance Management and Evaluation Oversight: Oversee the performance evaluation and management processes to ensure they are fair, transparent, and aligned with organisational goals. Implement performance management systems and tools, and oversee training programs and development initiatives to ensure they align with company standards.
Who You Are
- Experienced HR Professional: Significant experience in HR (ideally 5+years) within a legal or professional services environment, showcasing a proven track for successful HR management and strategy implementation.
- HR Policies and Compliance Expert: Possess a thorough understanding of HR policies, employment law, and compliance frameworks, ensuring organisational adherence to legal standards.
- Leadership: A natural leader, capable of inspiring and guiding teams towards achieving their best through effective leadership and people management skills.
- Communication Expertise: Excel in communication, capable of nurturing an inclusive and collaborative workplace environment, fostering team cohesion and productivity.
- Time Management Proficiency: Adept at managing time and responsibilities effectively, particularly in a remote work environment, ensuring efficiency and adaptability.
