We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as People Central Advisor reporting to Team Leader- People Central.
The purpose of the People Central Advisor role is to provide up-to-date advice, support, and guidance to all nbn employees across a broad range of HR matters in line with nbn’s policies and processes. In their role, the individual serves as the primary contact for employees via phone support and case management, providing information on P&C policies and procedures. They also coach employees on how to self-serve through Workday or the Hub. As a subject matter expert, they handle complex questions, update instructions, and ensure prompt updates to the HRIS (Workday). They work closely with various P&C stakeholders and continuously provide suggestions for improvements, trends, and insights based on the queries received.

- Case management
- Employee life cycle activities
- Continuous improvement
- HRIS audits & governance
- Health, safety and environment
A bit about you
The role requires a candidate with proven experience in Human Resources. The candidate will have a strong understanding of employee lifecycle and Fair Work legislation and possess excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. They should be adept at delivering customer-centric solutions, driving continuous improvement, and using HRIS (Workday).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective interaction and influence across all stakeholder levels, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, they should have strong planning and organising skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and deliver against Service Level Agreements.
