About the Organisation:
The Chancery in Lismore provides support and administrative services to the Catholic Diocese of Lismore. With the office located in Lismore you will work within a highly collaborative, friendly and caring environment where no two days are the same.
About the Role:
A new opportunity has become available for a professional Human Resources Advisor to join the Chancery team and deliver contemporary people centered support and advice across their parishes, agencies, health, aged care and community service entities.
About you:
To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in a HR advisory role with a sound knowledge of HR and WHS legislations You will be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships quickly and easily.
Responsibilities
  • Working within the People & Culture team, partnering with our parishes, entities and agencies, providing HR guidance across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, induction, training and development, employee relations and performance management.
  • Provide WHS and proactive injury management advice and support.
  • Supporting the delivery of People & Culture initiatives and projects.
  • Performance and behavioural management.
  • Develop strong relationships within internal and external teams.
To be successful you will have:
  • Degree and/or relevant experience in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an HR advisory role.
  • Ability to successfully partner with and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of WHS legislations, workers compensation and return to work/injury management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Friendly and caring nature with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Drivers license and ability to travel as required.
* This position requires a National Criminal History Check (NCHC) and a Working with Children Check.
