As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Human Resources manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes, as well as assisting in the management of WHS.
Key responsibilities & duties the role consists of:- Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment
- Address employees’ requests and grievances in a timely manner
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process
- Develop and monitor HR strategies and procedures
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a staff performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics (turnover rates and cost-per-hire)
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Refresh all employee contracts and job descriptions
- Ensure that all WHS policies & procedures are up to date and reviewed on a timely manner
- Management of all Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- Assist with maintenance of appropriate risk, compliances and quality management policies and practices
- Rewrite employee induction handbook
- Proven working experience as HR Manager
- Leadership skills
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment contracts and related laws
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- High level computer skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
