About the Role:
As the key liaison of HR, reporting to the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies focused on attraction, recruitment, embedding values, and fostering a high-performing culture that supports growth, retention, and capacity building in line with organisational goals.
This role oversees the delivery of outstanding P&C strategies, recruitment, compliance, EVP, HR employee lifecycle, as well as adherence to policies, procedures, and audit-related obligations.
Responsibilities also include creating a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders, providing substantial support to our workforce and clients.
You will lead a small team of People and Development Coordinators and a Compliance Officer, with opportunities for team growth.
About You:
We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team, encompassing people management, administration, and compliance.
- Ideally proficient understanding of SCHADS and Clerks awards, along with a grasp of the National Employment Standards.
- Solid working knowledge of performance management processes and Fair Work requirements.
- Thorough understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Quality assurance expertise in tools and methodologies.
- High-level relationship management skills.
- Advanced verbal, written, and report writing skills.
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities.
